skiing

Axel had his first skiing adventure a couple of weekends ago. We headed up to Copper Mountain with three other couples and their 3 other children... 4 toddlers + 4 families = 12 people in one condo and tons of fun!

Axel rested up on the way there:

Once we arrived his friend Julia was already on the slopes. Axel kept telling us, "Axel ski?, Axel ski?" Since Julia was nice enough to share her gear he went for a ride on the 'magic carpet'.

And did a few trial runs with mom. We figured out that rather than supporting them from behind it seemed to work better (perhaps not safer?) to run down backwards in front of them... 2 videos of that action below:
