Sanity is slowly returning to our lives and parenting is infinitely easier than it was in those first weeks. Rich has been super busy with work but will be spending this afternoon with the little guy while I get out to my local field site to gather some soil cores. I'm going to ease the transition back to work over the next month and spending some time outdoors seems like the perfect way to start that process. Overall we're having heaps of fun watching how much Axel has grown (he's 7 weeks today and weighed in at 9 lbs 12 oz at the pediatrician yesterday!) and I think we still can't quite believe he's ours. How did we make such a cutie?
